Start from today I’ll post the release notes about Gmail Keeper here. Here are some other changes made since the first version:
- Added a new context menu item to let you quickly locate both the network activity and backup/restore log files in Windows Explorer, this smoothes the user feedback process.
- Fixed a bug which prevents labels those happened to be parent labels of other labels being backed up. For example, if you have 2 labels, one is called Friends while another is called Friends/Jack (note the slash symbol), the former were not be backed up.
- Fixed a bug which occurred when downloading email headers from a folder which contains a large amount (over several tens of thousands). This is because Gmail server is not designed to perfectly work with such backup operations performed by programs such as Gmail Keeper. Anyway, we luckily found a way to solve it.
- Fixed occational error which is caused by an network problem with message ‘Your Gmail display langugage has changed to none-English language, try to edit the profile and identify Gmail folders manually.’
