Schedule a backup job

Backup automation is a big time saver and is one of the unique features provided by Gmail Keeper.

 

Steps to schedule a backup job in Gmail Keeper:

 

  1. Open the backup profile setup window as per instructions described here

  2. Go to 'When to Start Backup' -> 'Schedule mode', select one of the following options:

     

  1. Manually. Backup will not be started automatically.

  2. Daily. Backup will be started daily at the time you specify on the right hand side.

  3. Weekly. Backup will be started weekly at/on the time/day you specify on the right hand side.

  4. Monthly. Backup will be started monthly at/on the time/day you specify on the right hand side.

 

Once you scheduled a backup profile, Gmail Keeper will configure your Windows system to automatically start Gmail Keeper when you logon, so that the scheduled backup jobs for Gmail or Google Apps email can be guaranteed.
